where to look

• Specific ski center -- If you want to know about a particular ski center, find it on our Places to Ski page, then follow the link to their own website, to view their report.

• Real skiers -- To find out where other skiers are going, and what snow conditions they're finding, see under informal reports.

• Multiple ski centers -- To see lots of ski centers on one page, try the multiple ski center reports. But note that not all of our Mid-Hudson cross-country ski centers contribute reports to those pages -- and the ones that do contribute do not always keep their section of those multiple-center reports up to date.

• Weather -- check some weather links for the Mid-Hudson region.

• Cross Country Ski Areas Association (as of January 2006, their snow reports link just takes you to Snocountry)  

• Weather Underground reports for New York (as of January 2006, this page has mostly  downhill resorts mixed in with a few cross-country ski centers, and they do not show dates on the  main list page)
